Photo and Video Release

PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE

Photos, videos, and audio of participants are taken at the concert finale. These may be posted to The Candyman Facebook Page, The Candyman YouTube Channel, on The Candyman website, through The Candyman group email messages, etc.

Photos, audio, and/or video may also be selected for use in The Candyman social media and other promotional programs and campaigns. Parent/participant must understand and agree that these materials will become the property of The Candyman Rock School. Participants will not be compensated for such publications.

By enrolling in The Candyman Rock School, consent and permission are granted for the use and/or publication of photos, videos, and recordings of participant(s).

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

The Candyman Rock School is committed to conducting its programs and activities in the safest manner possible. Participants and parents/guardians registering their child/ward must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate. We continually strive to reduce such risks and insist that all participants follow rules, code of conduct, and instructions.

The Candyman does not carry medical insurance for injuries sustained by participants as the cost of such insurance would make program fees prohibitive. Therefore, each person registering themselves or a family member for Rock School should review their own health insurance policy for coverage. The absence of health insurance coverage does not make The Candyman Strings & Things or The Candyman Rock School responsible for payment of medical expenses. Please read this agreement carefully and be aware that in registering yourself and/or your minor child/ward for participation in The Candyman Rock School, you will be waiving and releasing all claims for injuries you/your child/ward might sustain arising out of these programs.

Release of Claims

As a participant in The Candyman Rock School, you agree to assume full risk of any injuries, including death, damages, or loss regardless of severity, which you/your child/ward may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with the program and agree to waive and relinquish all claims you/your child/ward may have as a result of participating in the program against The Candyman Strings & Things, The Candyman Rock School, its owners, agents, volunteers, and employees.

ROCKER CODE

  • Treat others how you want to be treated.

  • Treat the equipment like you would treat your own (even better!)

  • Respect your instructors.

  • No noodling! (Don't play when you're not supposed to play.)

  • Keep a positive attitude.

  • As part of a band, every rocker has to attend every scheduled day (unless you're sick of course).

  • Don’t Yuck My Yum - Don’t put someone down by criticizing their likes.

  • Keep the studios clean. Clean up spills, place trash and recyclables in designated containers.

  • Respect everyone’s personal bubbles.

  • Dress appropriately.

  • Be on time. Arriving late can disrupt practice and affect the whole band.

  • Communicate openly and honestly. If you have concerns or ideas, share them respectfully.

  • Support your bandmates. Encourage each other and celebrate everyone's progress.

  • Listen actively. Pay attention when others are speaking or playing.

  • Be mindful of volume levels.

  • Be flexible and adaptable. Sometimes plans change, and it's important to go with the flow.

  • Have fun and enjoy the music-making process!
