International Kids Music Day

The Candyman is partnering with the International organization, Keep Music Alive as they celebrate the 3rd Annual "Kids Music Day" on Friday, October 5th. The goal is to focus attention on the importance of including music as part of our children's education.

Planned Activities

  • On Saturday, October 6th, Sing Along with NewSong from 4:00pm to 5:00pm!

  • On Sunday October 7th from 1:00 to 2:00, kids can join in the free and fun Kids Play Ukulele. No experience necessary and if kids don't have their own ukulele, they can borrow one of ours!

  • On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, kids enrolled in our lessons program, may bring a friend to their lesson!

About Keep Music Alive

Keep Music Alive is on a MISSION to promote how valuable and important music is in all of our lives: Academically, Therapeutically or just overall making us a happier society. As part of this mission, our new book "88+ Ways Music Can Change Your Life" features over 150 inspirational music quotes, anecdotes and stories relating how music has affected the lives of people all over the world. Musicians, songwriters, music educators and music fans from around the world contributed to "88+ Ways" including almost 2 dozen music, film and TV celebrities.

 

50% of the proceeds from all book and ebook sales are donated to non-profits that support schools and communities in need with musical instructions and education. Our current beneficiares include Guitars in the ClassroomSpirit of Harmony and Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation.

Bring the kiddos and join us for one or more of these activities and celebrate the benefits of music in the lives of our children!
