Our team is made up of Customer Choice Coaches and Schmooze Masters
who are savvy in musical instruments, gear, technology, and live sound.

The Candyman Strings & Things is New Mexico’s premier full-line music store and a welcoming music hub and education center serving people from all walks of life; from families to professional musicians, and everyone in between. The Candyman also offers an instrument rental program as well as repair and commercial sound installation services. The Candyman focuses on long-term customer relationships, creating new music makers, and supporting musicians from all walks of life. The Candyman’s owners and staff don’t consider themselves a business in the community, but an integral part of the community and their mission is to make lives better through music.

Step 1
Fill out the below application and attach your resume.
Step 2
We will sort through the applications and reach out directly to those we feel are the best matches. We may not contact those who are not a fit.
Step 3
Candidates will be contacted to arrange a time to visit The Candyman for an initial interview and to tour the teaching facilities, review the job description and other details, and complete further assessments.
Step 4
We will review completed assessments and contact stand-out applicants to schedule an on-site interview.
Step 5
We will contact references and may perform background research on applicant finalists.
Step 6
The candidate determined to be the best fit will receive an offer of employment under a 90-day probationary period.
