Djembe Madness with Mark Clark is a super fun introduction to percussion using world rhythms on hand percussion.

Students will finish the course with a deeper understanding of rhythm, playing together as an ensemble, creativity, and the stepping stones of what it takes to be a well-rounded musician.

Teaching Method
All rhythms, songs, and performance pieces will be taught through memorization. (Any type of recording device is welcome in class if the student needs to reinforce their memory.)

Call and Response
Mark uses the traditional African "call and response" method, using each individuals's natural ability with the strength of an ensemble to raise everyone's level.
